The structure of ACN

"Aid to the church in Need" is an international Catholic charity under papal jurisdiction. Its headquarters have been in the town of Königstein, near Frankfurt in Germany, since 1975. At ACN international headquarters we process more than 10,000 aid requests that come to us annually from all around the world. The money we distribute (approximately 70 million US dollars) comes entirely from private donations. We receive no public or official Church monies. The donations of our benefactors, mostly in response to our bi-monthly newsletter "Mirror", normally flow in via our 16 national offices.

International headquarters of Aid to the Church in Need and 17 national offices

Our national sections in the donor countries are a feature of ACN. Monies donated are distributed for pastoral projects of the church in 144 different countries.
We receive no Stat or official Church contributions.
